§ 7.44.09. Penalty.

  • Any person who engages in the business of operating or leasing a coin operated amusement device without first obtaining the license required in this ordinance is declared to be a public nuisance and any amusement device so operated shall be seized by the city police department and sold at public auction on an order by the county chancery court. However, the device may be redeemed by its owner prior to sale by the payment of the license fee, any court costs and other costs associated with the seizure, attorney fees, and a penalty of one thousand dollars ($1000.00).
