§ 12.04.12. Officers.

  • The parks committee shall designate one of its members as chairman and select a vice-chairman and such officers as it may require. The terms of office of the chairman and other officers of the committee shall be for a period of one-year, beginning on January 1st of each year, and shall be provided for in the rules of the parks committee. The parks committee shall establish and adopt a regular time and place for meetings to be conducted; the parks committee shall meet at least once per month. The parks committee shall provide the city council minutes of all their meetings (regular or special) at the council's next regularly scheduled meeting. Public records of all committee business shall be maintained by the parks director and shall be provided to the public upon request.
