§ 10.24.04. Authority of mayor.

The mayor of the city is authorized to enter into an addendum to the settlement agreement for the purchase of the meters for those customers who are purchased by the city from Salem. The mayor is further authorized to enter into an addendum to the settlement agreement which provides for the purchase of customers and the supply of water to customers along Highway 5, both within and without the city. Further, the mayor is authorized to enter into a memorandum of understanding with Salem which provides for the orderly future transition of customers and facilities from Salem to the city.
