§ 1.20.02. Fifteen (15) percent needed.

  • Fifteen (15) percent of the legal voters of the city may order a referendum or invoke an initiative on any local measure. The number of signatures necessary for invoking the referendum or initiative shall be computed upon the total vote cast for the office of mayor at the last preceding general election. Fifteen (15) percent of that number of voters may order a referendum or invoke an initiative.
