§ 10.20.13. Compensation.

A.

Members of the water and wastewater committee shall receive compensation for attending committee meetings. This compensation will consist of ten dollars ($10.00) per day while attending committee meetings. The city council shall provide for this compensation in the water and wastewater committee annual budget. In addition, they shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred for necessary travel, meals, and lodging while attending to the business of the committee away from the city and for other necessary expenses incurred in the performance of the business of the committee.

B.

The city council shall have sole authority to establish salaries for the committee members, above and beyond the compensation discussed in subsection A.
